Shipment and dosing

Our Cement Additives can be delivered in bulk (tanker truck, isocontainer, flexytank) or in 1 m3 containers. Specific dosing solutions are available for every milling system.

Buik tank truck shipments

25 - 30 t net weight. The best solution for cement plants already equipped with storage facilities.

10 m3 iron tank

Special iron tanks, designed to be shipped in standard containers (2 iron tanks in each 20' container). Maximum loading: 10 t for each iron tank. A good solution for cement plants without storage facilities.

1 m3 plastic tank

Flexible and easy handling solution. 18 plastic tanks can be shipped in a single 20' container.

Flexitank

A special plastic bag that can be filled with 20 - 22 t of product. The flexitank can be placed in a 20' container. The cheapest solution forcement plants already equipped with storage facilities.

Dosing system

MAPEI usually suggests and provides the cement factory with the most appropriate dosing system, taking into consideration the type of additive, the characteristics of the mill and the grinding plant.
Special pumps are available on request.
